CHERP (Community Hooked on East River Park) is a group of volunteer advocates engaged in fostering awareness and participation in our neighborhood back yard, East River Park.
Our goal, in cooperation with the Parks Department, is to promote a safe, clean, beautiful green waterfront park for everyone to enjoy.

Next VOLUNTEER DAY IT'S MY PARK DAY!
Saturday, May 15th from 10am – 2pm
Meet at the East River Park at the seal spray shower at the foot of Grand Street to kick off the gardening season. It’s your chance to get your hands dirty and help beautify the park. EVERYONE IS WELCOME! We have glove and tools available. Please bring a brown bag lunch. No need to sign up, just show up!
